Kona Jack's Restaurant, Fish Market & Sushi Bar

Jim Thompson opened Daddy Jack's in 1990 with the goal to honor his father, Daddy Jack, by creating a place that captured the kind of man he was. 

Two years later, Jim expanded that dream by opening Kona Jack's, inspired by some of his favorite memories and flavors from Hawaii. The big island has a big place in his heart and has been a place the Thompson family has cherished for generations. He wanted to share the sense of joy, warmth, and adventure he experienced in his childhood with the Indiana community that continued to support him. 

Now, the story is entering a new chapter. Jim is preparing to pass the legacy on to his son, Dalton. Working side by side, they are proud to carry on what was started in 1990 while dreaming about all that's still to come. The future is exciting, but the foundation remains the same: treat every guest like family, serve food with pride, and create a place where memories are made for generations.
